Google’s next-gen phone is getting colourful — and we’ve got a first look
The Pixel 10 is already one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year, and now, thanks to a reliable leak, we’re getting our best look yet at Google’s upcoming colour palette. While “Moonstone” has already been teased in previous renders, this fresh leak shows the Pixel 10 line-up will ship in multiple vibrant finishes.
New colors spotted: Mint Jade, Obsidian Black (matte!), Sunrise Gold, and Arctic Blue — in addition to the shimmering Moonstone.
Sleek, Soft, and Slightly Iridescent
Unlike previous generations, the Pixel 10 appears to feature a softer glass back with a subtle matte texture, giving it a premium feel without the usual fingerprint smudging. The new colorways carry a slight iridescent sheen when angled in the light — especially noticeable on Moonstone and Arctic Blue.
Camera Bar Gets a Subtle Refresh
Photos in the leak also show a slightly slimmer camera bar, though it retains the signature horizontal layout. Google seems to be opting for a more integrated design, blending the camera bump more naturally into the body — especially in darker finishes like Obsidian Black.
Where Did the Leak Come From?
The images appear to originate from a production facility and were posted by a known industry insider with a strong track record. While not officially confirmed by Google, the consistency with previous Pixel design language gives this leak a high level of credibility.
More Than Just Aesthetic
Colour may seem like a small detail, but for fans of the Pixel series, it’s part of the charm. Google has long leaned into playful, unique finishes — and this leak suggests that Pixel 10 continues the tradition, while adding a refined and modern twist.
The Pixel 10 is expected to be announced officially this October. If these colour options are real, fans may have a hard time picking just one.
